Fonatur transferred to the Secretary of the Navy the rights to use and exploit a private marina in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.

The National Fund for Tourism Development (Fonatur) transferred to the Secretary of the Navy the rights to use and exploit a private marina in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora.

The Marina, according to the resolution of the assignment of rights published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), has a total area of 5,500.6 square meters, of which 4,407.8 are located in the maritime operational zone and 1,092.8 in the land zone within the port precinct.

The surface, the text establishes, is for the construction and operation of a private marina that will be integrated with a floating dock and a platform.

The marina will be part of the Administration of the National Port System Guaymas S.A. de C.V., which is a state-owned company sectorized to the Secretary of the Navy.

The total assignment of the rights and obligations derived from the “Concession Title” cited in the previous IX is formally authorized, in favor of the Administration of the National Port System Guaymas, S.A. de C.V., by virtue of the fact that, in accordance with the factual and legal considerations expressed in this resolution, the requirements established for such purposes in article 30 of the Ports Law were satisfactorily met”, the resolution indicates.
