The State Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation into these events
On Wednesday night, armed men chased and shot several times at a couple while they were traveling in their car through the streets of Caborca, Sonora.
According to state Public Security, they received a report of gunshots in the Centro neighborhood in Caborca, where upon arrival the units located a couple, both injured with firearms, after a direct attack following a vehicle chase that they were driving.
“Both have minor injuries that are not life-threatening,” and the victims were taken to receive medical attention, the agency reported.
The State Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation into these events.
