PUERTO PEÑASCO.- A young American, 20 years old, from the state of Nebraska, identified as Jayden K. H., died in Puerto Peñasco after the ATV he was riding collided with a vehicle.

The Rocaportense Municipal Transit report establishes that, at 6:09 p.m. last Monday, agents from said agency went to Ernesto Guevara del Campo Boulevard, near the caravan park called Playa Bonita RV, to attend to a report of crash with injuries.

When they arrived, they observed a Polaris ATV, Trail Blazer, model 2001, which was being driven by the young American who was lying badly injured on the ground.

There was also a Dodge brand van, Durango, model 2023, black, with Arizona plates, whose driver is unknown since he left the scene of the accident.

The young man died from his injuries
Paramedics from the Red Cross came to help the injured man and then took him to a hospital where the doctor on duty reported that the young man died around 7:15 p.m., having not overcome the severity of his injuries.

The preliminary report indicates that the ATV was traveling in the opposite direction on the aforementioned boulevard and apparently cut off traffic to the van that was traveling at excessive speed, on the same street, where the fatal accident occurred.

After the collision, Jayden was thrown towards the central median, at a distance of 9 meters, while the vehicle he was driving flipped several times until it was 22 meters from the initial impact.
