The Government of Sonora, through the Ministry of Economy and Tourism (SETUR), invites Sonoran families, as well as national and international visitors, to enjoy the summer vacation season with the natural beauty of the state’s main beach destinations.
Under Governor Alfonso Durazo’s vision, Sonora is strengthening its tourism offerings with strategic projects such as the new boardwalks in Huatabampito and El Cochórit Beach in Empalme. This infrastructure promotes the development of coastal communities and enriches the experience of those who visit the state’s beach destinations.
The state offers a wide variety of destinations, from the beaches and water activities of Puerto Peñasco, the natural landscape and culinary offerings of San Carlos, the proximity and tranquility of Bahía de Kino, to the charm of Huatabampito and the revitalized El Cochórit, which are now positioned as new options for family tourism.
The Secretary of Economy and Tourism, Roberto Gradillas Pineda, invited visitors to explore the state this summer, enjoying and discovering the natural, cultural, and culinary wonders that make Sonora a destination for unforgettable experiences.
“Sonora is experiencing a boom in tourism thanks to the support Governor Alfonso Durazo has given to infrastructure development, which strengthens our destinations. Today, we have more attractive and safer beaches with improved services to welcome those seeking unforgettable experiences. Therefore, we reiterate our invitation to discover all that Sonora has to offer this holiday season,” he emphasized.
