Sonora is making steady progress toward a sustainable future by consolidating strategic alliances with international companies specializing in technology and sustainability, such as Huawei Technologies of Mexico, highlighted Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño.
This industry, he said, has expressed interest in collaborating with the Sonora government to promote innovation and technological development projects focused on clean energy.
The state executive branch noted that the international consortium of Asian origin, through the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, has presented proposals to the Sonora government for the automation and digitalization of energy parks, the incorporation of electric mobility solutions, and the strengthening of the digital infrastructure that supports the Sonora Sustainable Energy Plan.
Durazo Montaño emphasized that the state has established itself as a strategic location for global companies seeking to establish themselves in Mexico, thanks to a policy of openness to investment and a firm commitment to sustainability.
In Sonora, we are building a sustainable and competitive future, where innovation and investment translate into well-being for the people of Sonora,” stated the state governor.
Roberto Gradillas Pineda, Secretary of Economy and Tourism, emphasized that the governor’s vision has turned opportunities into concrete projects, positioning Sonora as a key destination for nearshoring and industrial growth with a positive impact on communities.
