An area that does not show us all its treasures is undoubtedly San Carlos, Guaymas, because when we go, we all focus on the tourist area, around the main avenue and the nearby beaches, the hotels and nightclubs, or the yacht rides that all follow the same route, they always offer the same thing, but there is always much to see if we look a little further.

Hidden beaches that are not very visited, there are several that are a little removed and with a somewhat complicated access, such as Las Barajitas or Choyudito, which have incredible beauty and more because the hand of man has practically not modified them, they are in a natural and virgin state until now.

Now, if it is about another type of scenery, which are found in the mountainous part that frames this paradisiacal place, there you can find many corners that are truly magical and that in the rainy season, like the one we are currently experiencing, become even more attractive.

Not everything is beach in San Carlos

One of the best known is the Nacapule Canyon, a spectacular place to go for a walk in contact with nature and where there are some waterfalls and jars that are formed when the water currents move between all those rocks and that at the same time make the vegetation that is nearby come alive and have a very intense color.

One of the people who likes to go into all those corners of the San Carlos mountain range is the explorer and photographer from Sonora “Rada SC”, who continually shows us all the discoveries he makes on his walks throughout that area and this time he shows us some jacuzzis that are formed in some cavities in that mountainous part.

“Today I am going to take you to some jacuzzis that form naturally here in San Carlos after the rains,” he mentions in a video that he shared with us on his Tik Tok account “Rada SC”, where he shows us these spaces that with the arrival of rainwater a kind of giant jars with crystalline water are formed that runs through the channels in the upper part of the Sierra del Aguaje.

The photographer and explorer Rada SC has introduced us to many of these places and in this case with these jacuzzis you can see in the video he published, that these cavities where the water accumulates and makes a series of small pools where several people can fit and in some of them the water reaches to cover an adult person standing or his large Doberman dog, who has to swim to avoid drowning.

With the sun high in the sky, the water must surely be a bit warm, and to be there resting and enjoying that impressive landscape, one would like to reach that place and turn one’s back on the sea and look for the mountains, since San Carlos has much more than we imagine, behind the hills and under the rays of the sun, there is much to see and enjoy.
