Cecilia Patricia Flores, leader of the Sonora Seeking Mothers Collective, accused Alejandro Encinas, undersecretary of Human Rights, Population, and Migration of not maintaining a proper communication with the country’s collectives.
“Unfortunately, the president is very deceived by Encinas because he neither seeks, nor supports, nor cares for them (seeking mothers), nor listens to them and does not even meet with anyone,” he said.
This is after Andrés Manuel López Obrador, president of Mexico, assured this Friday, Feb. 10th, that both the official and the Ministry of the Interior have one of the programs with the largest budget to find the disappeared, as well as constant contact with the relatives.
“With all my sorrow I dare to deny what (the president) said today in his morning press conference since unfortunately, it is not true that Alejandro Encinas is in constant communication with all the groups in the country, it is a lie”.
“I have been asking him for two years to help me find my children since I am displaced and at the moment I have no response from Karla Quintana or Encinas, who were the people who met with me,” he said in a video published on Twitter.
