The Second National Tournament, held in Hermosillo, is an opportunity for the growth of padel
Guillermo Valencia Navarro, representative of the Sonoran Padel Association, highlighted the enthusiasm of the local community for the arrival of the tournament, as these events are usually held in the south of the country. For her part, Rebeca Valenzuela, director of the Sonoran Youth Institute, highlighted the importance of these types of events that combine sports, tourism, and family togetherness.

Rodolfo Urrea, from the organizing committee, stated that Hermosillo is ready to welcome the best Mexican padel talent and that a digital audience of up to 300,000 people is expected, expanding the tournament’s reach beyond Sonora.
The Second National Padel Tournament 2025 seeks to be more than just a competition: the idea is to create a platform for national talent and a showcase for the tourism development of Sonora, as well as a space to promote padel throughout the city of Hermosillo and the state in general.
