They were traveling from Puerto Peñasco to Nogales when an armed group attacked them, the 44-year-old victim received 3 bullets.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) of Sonora reported that in coordination with security institutions, they are working on the investigation to clarify the acts of violence that occurred early this morning, November 23, where no deaths were reported.

Two people were injured in the incident, identified as Jason “N” and Robert “N”, who were traveling in a Jeep-type vehicle when they were attacked. They later received medical attention and were transferred to a hospital for recovery.

Unofficially, it was reported that Jason, 44 years old, is a US war veteran.

The 31-year-old was traveling from Nogales to Puerto Peñasco with his girlfriend and mother-in-law when they were attacked.
